As mentioned in our press release, a recent Verizon Data Breach Investigations report finds that 81 percent of hacking-related breaches take place because of stolen or weak passwords. As businesses move to using more cloud services the number of accounts and passwords each person needs to maintain is skyrocketing. This drives complexity and impacts productivity without a password management services to keep it simple. The alternative of using a single password creates wide ranging security risks, which are unacceptable to take with the number of cybercriminals looking to prey on businesses. Given the high percentage of data breaches caused by stolen or weak passwords, password management is critical to a business’s data security plan and eliminating potential cybersecurity risks.
Last year in a segment featured on PBS, we talked about the risks small businesses face when going online.
